Equipment: Columbia Boiler CT-15 (15 HP), a high temperature, high pressure (150 PSI), vertical, tubeless, natural gas fired boiler. The CT-15 features an extra-large steam capacity and a submerged, water-cooled furnace. The CT-15 is vertical so it has a very modest footprint – just 36 inches!

Project: 15 PSI to brew house and high pressure (45 PSI), high temperature steam to an automatic kegging machine.

Their boiler package includes hot water tankless coils for process and sanitizing wash down water. The coils enable the brew process to be simultaneous with producing hot water for the hot leisure tank.

This brewery revived the Missoula Brewing Company name and the original Highlander brand of beer. The owners and investors are thrilled to reintroduce a beer that was a mainstay beer of Montana families for decades until the brewery closed in 1964. In honor of the rich tradition of the beer and brewery, the brewery logo and beer labels feature a retro look.
